The journey begins with the conception of an idea. Sketching serves as a playground for exploration, where concepts are born and evolve. These initial sketches capture the raw energy of creativity, allowing for the free-flow of ideas without constraints.
As the sketches multiply, certain ideas start to resonate more strongly. They become the focal points, and the sketches evolve from mere lines to the beginnings of a coherent concept. This stage is crucial — the refining process begins, and potential designs start to take shape. I always start with paper and pen.
